How to Win the Culture War

If you have not noticed that the culture is increasingly getting worse you are probably watching too much reality TV.

Why do I say this?

Well, reality TV is not based in reality. It’s all fake. How do I know this? I used to live in LA while attending Film School, and one freelance job included my involvement in a reality TV pilot (it was a horrible concept and never made it to the airwaves). Nothing about it was true, except for the celebrity. If we take in too much garbage, like most reality TV shows, then we can become numb to seeing the unusually slow shift the culture is taking.

One of my favorite videos on YouTube is Professor Peter Kreeft giving a lecture at Franciscan University on “How to Win the Culture War“. What I love about the talk is he uses a viewpoint similar to the Screwtape Letters. He starts off with “How not to Win the Culture War.” If you have 47 minutes to spare, your time will not be wasted.

Enjoy :)
